 Penguins

Making ice crem

 Walt make ice cream.

Ingredients:                                                                          

1 cup of full cream milk

2 Tps of sugar

1/2 tps of vanilla essence

1/3 cups of salt

3 cups of salt

plastic bag

3 cups of ice

Bigger plastic bag

How we made it 

First we put 2 Tps of salt and 1/2 Tps of vanilla essence into the plastic bag

Next we put one cup of full cream milk into and plastic bag

Then we put 1/3 cups of salt and 3 cups of ice into the bigger plastic bag. we put the little plastic bag inside the big plastic bag.

Last we had to shake the bag vigorously for 7-10 minutes.

Jazz my sentence

 WALT write better and more interesting sentences.

Reflection:I liked to make the sentences. It was kinda had to do it.

My Narrative

WALT write a narrative using a story generator.

Reflection:I liked writing this story.

Density

 Learning Intention: Observe how an egg reacts in fresh vs salt water to understand the concept of density.

First we had to write down the equipment will would need. Next we had to right down our prediction. Then we put the egg in the fresh water and it sank but when we put 175g of salt in it floated. Then we had to write the results onto the paper. After that we had to write down the conclusion. Why did the egg float is salt water and not in tap water? The salt water compared to the normal water it has more density.

Science

 WALT: Identify our prior knowledge about science. What do you know about Science? I know how nearly everything involves science. What would you like to learn/discover about science? I would love to learn how to make elephant toothpaste.

WALT Write to inform our audience about either an athlete, or a sport. Follow the information report structure. 

Reflection I learnt that it isn't all about getting Olympic medal.

 WALT Refresh our knowledge around camera angles. Analyse how we use camera angles in different situations in our films.

Reflection I never knew that there was a weather shot.

 It was very fun to do this I learnt heaps of new shots.

Reflection what I learnt that was interesting was that 1 Dollar is 77.21 yen.

Reflection - What we did step by step.

1. Draw a 1cm grid on the real photo.

2. Number and get a 2.5cm gird and number it too.

3. Use the grids the get the perfect places.

Reflection: Maki came to our school and we made prototypes of rockets.

We did it because we entered into the stem wonder project.

I enjoyed it because we got to be in a group with our friends.

Reflection: I enjoyed getting the info. I learnt that my granddad on my dads side is called Ronald.

 WALT - Read to find information and locate significant towns and cities within New Zealand on a map.

Reflection: I learnt that tribunal means A court of justice. It was hard to put the places in the right place.

Reflection - I loved making avatar from the start. We used remove.bg to add the background.
