We created this because the World Cup was on.
We created this by answering questions which we found the information for on our class site.  We put the answers onto puzzle pieces, coloured them in, cut them out and then glued them onto black paper to make a rugby ball shaped puzzle.


2 things I like about my rugby puzzle is how I coloured it in and how I did my teams that won.

1 thing that I need a work on is gluing it in.

Reflection: 1 Thing I like is how I put  the acer in the background. Another thing I like is how I put the writing  on  the acer. 1 thing I need a do better is to have a different speaker.

Finding the area of a shape

WALT find the area of a shape in square centimetres.

We explored shapes by covering them with square centimetre cubes and counting how many cubes to took to cover the shape.

We then drew shapes on grid paper and counted how many squares our shapes covered.




Reflections: It was easy to do the 100 50 20 and 10.It was hard to do the I and L.

WALT make a movie using iMovie

We created this to help celebrate Te Wiki Te reo Maori (Maori language week)
We created this by taken a video of the little puppets moving.Then we took off any background noise and recorded our voices is saying the Te reo Maori for the fairy tale.We then added titles to show the English translation and who made the video.



Reflection:I like how we made the movie and how we did separate videos.I wish we were more clearer.

Why should we plant trees?

WALThat explanations have special parts.

We created this to explain why it is important to plant trees.

Without trees we will die.I will explain why  it is good to plant trees.

Trees give us oxygen.Trees suck in the dirty air and clean it then breathe it out so we always have clean air

Trees give us wood.We use wood to make houses, tree houses, & shelter.

Trees give us paper.We use trees wood and take strips and add some chemicals.So that is why we plant trees.

Reflection: It was wonderful to have Tuatara come in and help us with Google Drawings.  It was hard to put the information into our own words.  Google drawings was sometimes frustrating!

Hauora

We are learning about Hauora and that we each have 4 walls which we need to look after so that our body and mind can be happy and healthy.

We created this to show how we look after ourselves.



2 things I like about my work is how we put are work on our blog and how we got to change the font one thing I need to do  is work faster.

We wrote biographies because we are learning about our families.
We wrote biographies to tell other people about someone special in our family.

Robert weeks was born on the 20th of June 1951 in london.

He is 67 years old.

Grandads favourite memory is camping at la chertsey bridge where he learnt to swim to see some cows.

Robert weeks went to wandsworth primary school. 

Robert weeks worked as a cost clerk on a building site.

Grandads favourite colour blue.Roberts favourite food is Curry or steak.

Grandads funniest memory is his mum was making a big 
pie and she left it to cool down and when she came back
The pie was gone she called all her kids and asked all of them who ate the pie and they all said not me and then bruise came in looking happy with himself and then they all laughed.
